Happy Birthday Mom 2016
Happy Birthday Mom
I miss you so much,
thinking of you always
losing sleep and such.
There's not a day that goes by
when I look for certain signs,
hoping something stands out
if nothing does, that's just fine.
Ever since you had passed
I've been seeing hearts,
in my coffee cup, a potato and chips
is it truly a work of art?
Just today, in fact
I was down the street,
don't know if it was a coincidence
my heart had quickly started to beat.
I was sitting in the car
in a window shop I did see,
the words, "Don't Forget..."
staring back at me.
About five seconds later
a heart being held by a dancing bear,
you loved collecting bears mom
with you, this...I wanted to share.
I was told to look for a sign
on days that were important to me,
but was today a sign or coincidence?
I just can't seem to let this one be.
It's funny that today
was the time I had noticed this,
Happy Birthday Mom
my soul feels a little more bliss.

I don't know if it was a sign from my Mom, letting me know she is still here with me. Wishful thinking or of pure coincidence, because of where it's so close to Valentine's Day, that I saw the words, "Don't Forget..." then the dancing bear with the heart shortly after it. I don't really know what to think.
