Happiness Sates

On the 'hazy horizon' the sun rises high Arid breeze caresses 'dunes in desert' arena The steps of 'life in strife' stop As the 'gleam of dream' 'sordid sands' grip Bruised by the thorns of cacti 'Bliss from abyss' rises once again Defines the contours of hope sublime I 'try to descry' the 'hint of hidden' oasis Where my journey will end in joy boundless.
