Happiness found me
(And I found Happiness within)

Happiness and I
We played hide and seek
I looked everywhere
Even at my feet
I smiled at a stranger
As I went on my way
They smiled back
For I had made their day
I complimented a lady
On her glorious scarf
She was delighted
The energy was warm
I made a sandcastle
With a toddler on the beach
He loved and enjoyed it
Then let it flow back into the sea
I sat on the shore
And enjoyed the peace and ease
Watched the waves go in and out
Like a perfect harmony
I picked up a seashell
And listened carefully
And lo and behold, I heard a voice
I'd found Happiness in me
For it wasn't a destination
Or a specific thing
Happiness is all around us
In every single atom
Our game turned out
To be a definite win
For Happiness found me
And I found Happiness within
