Happiness

It is for what we all seek but rarely ever fined
For the heart is so weak, so many blessings are never mined
It can not be found for it comes from within
But by earth we are bound and concealed in our sin

But some are just pure of heart and rarely ever complain
They had faith from the start, that’s why they are so sane
In knowing everything is a gift in Gods own way
They depend on Him for a lift or in times that they sway

Others find it late as they learn to adjust
Pondering their fate, they know it is a must
And when it tries to leave and tries to go away
They know it’s not time to grieve, it’s just time to pray

And then there are those who never have a smile
And everyone knows you can only take them for a while
Muttering along completely without a clue
And they wonder what’s wrong and what’s up with you

Well I’ll tell you my secret as I mention His Name
For once you have met, life will never be the same
Always by your side no matter what you have done
At least say you tried and call out to His Son
