Happiness

I begin each word with the name of Allah, The One who gave life, light, and strength to all. Like a swallow sprinkling water with its wings, He gives hope and warmth through the verses I bring. Grateful, I hold my soul in thanks to Allah, Within me flows inspiration, like a surging river. Perhaps my readers are parched, seeking a verse, Let me pour forth my poetry, unending, diverse. What bliss it is to see the dawn's bright light, To wake safely from the cradle of night. The eastern sun blushes with a crimson glow, Painting the horizon in a vibrant show. Happiness is breathing deeply, filling the chest, Stretching out, yawning, under the sun's caress. Washing your face, clearing the sleep away, Joining life's journey, moving onward each day. Happiness is boundless, so rich in grace, Greeting your family with a warm embrace. How many souls have passed without a trace, Unable to light the hearth or hold their place.
