John Read Poet Rhyme

Happiness

"To weep the tears that never learn"
to touch the hands of fate.
To taste the joys of happiness
Is a journey we all make.

As this life unfolds before us
a lesson is taught each day.
That all things in life are only borrowed
even time just melts away.

Be careful what you wish for
money and possessions mean nothing to me.
Our world would be a whole lot poorer
without the ones we love that's family.

I sat in horrible as it revealed how he loved his money more than his grandson whom he said he loved. Your work has a very emotional ring to it.
