Happily Ever After

HAPPILY EVER AFTER

I’ve read the fairy tales, and I’ve seen how they all end;
They say all lived happily ever more.
But then I read God’s word, and on it I can depend;
It told me of heaven’s fair shore.

	All is peace in that land so fair,
	And no one is ever sick, and no one dies.
	We will dwell with our Saviour there
	So happily ever after in the skies.

Those folks in fairy tales have a life of joy and bliss;
I’ve read it so often and know.
But I have much more joy, for the difference is this:
The place is for real where I go!

	These words written to “Second Chance.”
