Happening In a Flash

6/24/17 Doing the bare minimum, or max Won't always be the first or last Near and far from waters with or without bass Walking and running on grass Driving slow or fast, still using gas Seeing through my own eyes and often glass Not spending time at any religious mass Just taking out the trash Walking down my own path With an occasional laugh Thinking toward the future, in the present and back into the past So much pettiness and bullshit over cash Things being drawn out or happening in a flash Just like that All across the map In and out of any habitat Areas in sunlight or pitch black Places with none, one or multiple bird baths Similar and different temperatures on thermostats Ah, the great old debate about whether or not the Earth is flat Meanwhile time continues to elapse Across a rather vast Expanse full of life such as plants And ants
