Haphazard Man

Red wires piercing through your skull shell Like animal quills Always pointing upwards Challenging the sky Your white cloud face Casts shadows Over shoulder bones that balance you out Don’t topple! Scabs crawl the cord That stretches down and up and up and down Your back It’s hard to tell where you begin and end You haphazard creature Made of bits of this And bits of that From soles to spikes

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed day.
