Hangover

I got drunk on your love
You made me
feel a little giddy
laugh
and act a little silly
I could hardly walk
and I stammered when I did talk
I fell down
stood up
and shuffled around
when I gulped your love down

And yet instead of feeling out on the town
Your love left me housebound

Because all I feel now
                 is the hangover...
