Hands of Victor Jara

So much to greet with leaded hands, so many observed you later sans life... Shot so much arms in the wind in so many sentimental goodbyes , so much to have lived ... of so much life in waves, lacked hands to applaud your own life... lacked scarves for so much weeping ... We were without gestures, no hands... and hands were everything you had, hands were your love and your sustenance ...!
