Hand In Hand

Fifty years, has it been so long? It seems only yesterday My blushing bride walked down the aisle To give her heart away. Freely did she give it And gladly I received, Then hand in hand down life's path To walk it as we pleased. Life has been good to you and me, Though sometimes touched with sorrow, But hand in hand we always knew We could always face tomorrow. I am content to walk with you Until the very end, My darling wife, my lover dear, But most of all my friend.

I so love this...wish that there were more men/women out there that were so dedicated as you. I am one of the lucky gals who found mine.

Sweet, J! Makes life worthwhile even reading a nice story-line like yours... As I read it second time, the fourth line struck me -- 'to give her heart away.' That's pretty scary, truth be told. Yet it sure looks as if your bride made a great choice as to whom to give it to. Mazeltov, as they say in Transylvania! :) Gershon
