Halloween Undone

Halloween Undone
Halloween! Forever marking a a special celebration
calling you to pretend you’re really not YOU!
Will you engage in diabolical trickery
as your favorite but cautionary must DO?

Vampires’ mischief with abduction and feasting on vibrant blood
a delicious treat from an undead alien or friend?
Or, did this Halloween mischief play havoc
creating a paralyzed body no longer able to pretend?

Hi Jeannie, I think one of the reasons we like Halloween so much is because we have morbid curiosity about death and dying. Your vampire imagery conveys that very effectively. Great job! Keep writing!

I applaud your Elegy to Ruth B Ginsberg...what a LADY to loose during our critical times! You honored her well with your work. I
