Halloween Trick Or Treaters

Bear wanted to be a witch, but had to be satisfied
Dressed up like a skeleton, due to his enormous hide.
Batman with his black mask was immediately recognized.
Disappointed him too, as he jumped out, trying to surprise.

Ghostly stranger was no secret to the other trick-or-treaters.
His voice was unique; we called him McPeters Jeeters.
Was that his name? A costumed elf asked me.
I am not truthfully sure, I replied, with a spot of glee.
