Halloween Poem # 20...I Fell In Love With a Vampire

I met a creature in the night
At first he gave me quite a fright

His glinting eyes and wily way
He looked at me as if to say

"You will be mine" then he bit my neck
I tried to resist but what the heck

As I fell deeply under his spell
I let him suck my blood as well

I felt my willpower going away
My grip on reality went astray

I fell in love with that creature so dark
On a life of infinity I did embark

Love your vampire poem, Deb. It does appear these creatures cast spells. Enjoy your life of infinity! Very cool write for Halloween. Love, Carolyn
