Halloween Newsflash --- Say-Hey

Hearken, hear ye, what we say
   O'er runways and roadways
      Swirling snowflakes
         are falling today
   Sidewalks, slushy and slick
      need new navigation
         in a festive way

   So, Say-Hey and Yay
      All you trick-or-treaters
   It's time to break out
      Your Halloween sleighs!

 A Happy, snowy, Halloween
    to Midwesterners (USA)
            :) :) :)

I am sure the snow won't deter the kids from getting the candy!:-) hugs Jan xx

Interestingly, the snow, 6 inches (16 centimeters or so) in some places, really put a damper on Trick-or-treating. These days, the parents control the kids' movements pretty carefully. It is the age of the helicopter-parent. :) gw

Burrr……. so true.. The weather changed to cold the last few days I never expected to wear a long coat on Halloween. Lovely poem and be careful out there tonight with all the Witches, Werewolves, Ghosts, and Ghouls.. Hugs Eve

Thank you so much, Eve. And sorry to hear that the weather's gotten cold out your way too. Burr is right! I think we have to give the weatherman a Halloween cheer: Boo, boo, boo! LOL. Thanks again and warm wishes, Gershon

Sounds like the ghosts will blend in nicely with the background up there tonight. Happy Halloween Gershon.

Ha, Ha! Thanks for the creative comment, Chris. It was a real white-out here all day. Now it looks like January, with the tree branches all weighted down with snow. Ghosts invisible so far...
