Halloween

Creatures hide within the shadows,
The darkness of the night,
THe distant sound of an owl's cry,
Now here's a spooky sight,
Little children roam the town,
Many in disguise,
Is there someone or something watching you?
Here a mystery lies.
Children shriek as bats swarm,
And ghost fly in the sky,
Once they pass the haunted house,
They are soon to find out why.
Scarecrows dance throughout the night,
As jack-o-lanterns light the way,
Ghosts and goblins come out to play,
For Halloween is here to stay.
