Half Completed

The misery the pain,
It all feels the same.
Alone and trapped,
Cant seem to break free.
Theres something missing,
Im only half there.
I'm trying to disguise,
The person who I am.
I'm looking for addictions,
To hide my shame.
But no matter how I try,
Its all the same.
My shoulders are hurting from the baggage I carry.
I try to ease myself of the burdens.
But they just keep getting heavier.

Was I ever there?

Julia, the daily burdens of life stress us all and we need one another for strength and comforting support as I say this poem is wonderfully composed with a message that everyone can relate to in one way or another. Thank You for sharing your awesome gift of writing with us all and for sharing a little of yourself... MPK
