Half a Century Lived

Here We Are, Half a Century Lived Here we are, we’ve lived for half a century, We’ve fallen down, yet risen, it’s our destiny. We’ve laughed and cried, like butterflies in flight, Tasting life’s warmth and cold, both day and night. Those who dared approached and felt the burn, While the fearful lingered, cautious in their turn. Not straying far from light, yet staying close, They’ve learned to float through life, that’s how it goes. The timid remain in shadows, that’s their fate, While the brave bear scars, yet rise up straight. One day, like stars, they’ll shine so bright, Learning lessons from the school of life’s true light. Now they’ll climb up to the endless sky, Like stars they’ll soar, reaching up so high. They’ll even dare to match the sun’s warm ray, Young hearts, now inspired, gather ‘round to stay!
