Half

I can see it in your eyes
i that glare window pane
how I struggle to keep calm
in your arms so wild insane

Despite behind true lies
the door opened up the truth
I never saw it coming
you were there in his arms glued

How I wonder where to begin
this shattered soul, lifeless being
hatred covers the wall red
like knives killin' myself dead

Will I ever see light with someone else
or let myself walk through thin line
we will never know tomorrow I guess
for I am half-dead, half-soul, half-lifeless.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
