Haiti
Tears of forever echo in our years
over the lives of Haiti’s deaths
in debt we become overwhelmed with fear
deaths progeny inevitably un-done, born
the streaming blood of life’s prodigal matrix is done
a wholesome cocoon of chaos, calamity of prodigy
un-conscious birth has won
as riveting grounds diverge hollowed
a developed foetus’s birth denied
separating us from our known and unknown beloveth times
death unlocked confirms its perfection once more
nature’s loophole, adding to the existing ones uncured
painfully we are forcefully broken and torn away from the faces of the ones we bond
knowingly and unknowingly to
we watch as they fade away in the blur alongside earth’s fallibilities, in their homes, on
our planet
sacrificial souls, who appear to dilute, share, alleviate, save, correct and resuscitate
the wounded
are harmed as the rumbles of Haiti’s plight take us all on a ride 360 degree roller
coaster ride around planet earth’s disaster that recurs
as bonds inevitable are waiting at the end of the journey to be made
we are still here in search of a cure for Haiti’s doom ...............................
