Haikus 2 - 5

Haiku #2 Careless waters in her mind Shallow thoughts of hers Lacking depth in her ocean Haiku #3 With an abundance of rain Saturate my soul Fertilize this seed in me Haiku #4 I've seen mohagony shades Walk under street lights Smiling, enjoying life Haiku #5 Listening to song birds hum Love in the Spring Singing joyful sounds of praise

Alas! The greatly awaited haiku series is HERE!...Each has a strong individual presence...they are not related in any way at all, right? I know many people that fall in line with #2...the 3rd sounds so spiritual and beckons the Lord to rain His spirit on you....Oh, if I could be one of the people in the 4th one, just enjoying life and window shopping...great usage of the word mahogany to describe the sunglasses..very special touch. I take a walk on a crisp sunny morning in number 5...it's like a worship service in an old country church. The birds are the choir! Hey Corey! Thanks for this posting! Interesting scenes...Enjoyed a lot! Gwendolen

Most Haikus are written 5-7-5. I enjoy the 7-5-7 version however.
