Haiku Trilogy

Haiku Trilogy 


Fox poises mid-step

Rabbit scent tantalizes

Mouth waters wildly

 

Eyes peer intently

Haunches crouched, slung low to ground

Biding time to spring

 

Mountain lion growls

Padded feet part tall grasses

Hunter now hunted
