the patient cat watches spilt birdseed for mice a heron lands a heron lands a pair of ducks like bird seed my cat... spoilt for choice all in my garden a nature wonderland... mine a hunting heron

hi, Mick. I really like how the second one tied in with same line . I remember someone doing a challenge several years back where we had to connect three together. It was like the way you did your first two. by the way, I can't wait to read your winner list. Thanks for that contest.

Hi Andrea, Re the winner's list, as I have/was led to believe, via research, that human nature was/is, a consideration that can be used within the haiku rules (to me still is as we are part of and dependent on nature). As is, (apart from those that did not, (I assume), read my remit), all 28 of you are award first place, an overall draw. Two reasons, the first I couldn't choose between them, and secondly, that they all conformed to past Japanese masters of haiku re human nature, in my humble opinion. Mick
