New day springs;
Happy birthday

Birdsong here
On yard ledge;
Blackbirds acapella

Humid hot heat
August winds bestow;
Sauna dehydrates

By this balcony
Glimpses of night skyline;
Starry intervention

Music floats
Ecstatic permutations;
Heart in-sync

Joy in the breeze
Hope greets love;
Peace exults

Now meets here
Know a sure ease;
Calm fits charm
