Haiku Jam

__HAIKU SLAM__
~
~
((**HAIKU GYM**))

~Haiku press~
one sweaty work out
spot me, and count 5-7-5
dumbbells all around

~ Sweat Garden~
drench of human lawn
leotard planting between
dew drops under chin

~Listen To Your Heart~
Wink of a smile
Healthy news, swallow up blues
Kellogg's Raisin Bran
--------------------------------

((**SWAT TEAM**))

~10 commandments~
Haiku me and you
So much for the golden rule
Whatever you say

~Rhyme Zone~
Test your might tonight.
Gonna rhyme it with so much fun.
Like the mid day sun.

~Broken Tablet~
It's five seven five
I'm a haiku rule breaker
using four six four

~Big Deal~
LoL contest
Sweet pretty haiku sunrise
Not a, limerick
-----------------------------------

((**WILD WEST HAIKU**))

~Lone Ranger~
This is Texas man
Rain dries before it hits ground
What stupid cowboy

~Howdy Partner~
Memory of Texas
Take me beyond shores
Let's become best friends

~Avatar~
Cold cactus desert
Warm coyote blood all around
New Indian fur coat

~Monsoon~
raining arrowhead
where are all the buffaloes
pretty pink tepee

~Acme~
Road runner meep meep.
Stupid coyote needs fix.
I ate a baby

A very "healthy" poem! You then segued into a picture of the Lone Star State. Have you been reading any comic books recently? I sold my collection for $200 a while back. At 56 I have matured to the point where I not only read Marvel - I also can appreicate DC and Archie. I was the editor of Horseman #3 a number of years ago. Peace & Love Matthew Anish i

Good to see you back in the 'saddle' so to speak...love how you played with the haiku's and made them your own...drives me crazy when I have to try to follow a set pattern...if it doesn't somehow 'flow' it doesn't usually get finished for awhile...luv, and hugs shannon

Great ku's, all of them - have to say I like Broken Tablet the best, - far as I'm concerned, rules are made to be broken within reason of course. Any contests for these?

Irma, I had a rotten day but I wanted to still come here tonight and tell you thanks for the win and wanted to see these rule breaking haiku of yours. Yep, girl, you are a RULE breaker. But I break the rules too when I do the metaphorical ones I love to do for YOU. I don't know why metaphors have to be against the rules. I think you did really great with those kind. The ones I liked best here are haiku gym set. The very first one is super clever. Dumbbells all around hahaha. that was priceless.
