Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

I love haiku but also other poetry. Thanks, Andrea:) I've been dealing with a block for a few years now. Recently Some poetry has been flowing every now and again so hopefully I can start posting again on this site.

This is an excellent post and haiku poem, my sister of God's grace, Shantelle. I love the flow of the words and the impact of the message. The descriptive excellence is lovely. The theme great, and tenor move the piece along with much grace. Great job! https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/53812816-sincerely-speaking-spiritually.

Hello Carol Fillmore, be careful when waking outside. Take tiny steps in order not to fall. Be careful where you step. have a nice day my friend.

Thank you Darlene, for your words of advice! The poem was actually written years ago at a time when it was icy outside:) It is not icy at the moment, though. We just had 2+ days of heavy rain. I am very careful on ice, broken bones are not pleasant!
