I'm glad you're writing poetry about the sparkling quality of nature, which is something I always notice with great delight and sometimes write about myself. Very nice, Heather.

A very nice haiku. I adore the image of dragonflies coming out when the sun is bright and warm, making the gravel path less dreary. Haiku in the traditional sense...

The sunlight in this poem truly heightened and brightened our mental senses. A true, glorious haiku. Loved! Always, Laura

haiku ninja strikes again...It's a good one, Heather...it's impressive that you wrote, 'the well' as a teenager. I might have posted one or two from that time of my life on here...and I don't even like those.
