I had my first jab have suffered terribly with tiredness but as an Island we have pulled together most people have been vaccinated and we have no new cases just 2 which are isolated ones, and our Island is getting back to normal life again except for border restrictions, at the end of the day its down to person choice:-) hugs jan xx

Yes it comes down to choice and we should let each make their own choice on the vaccine. I was sick over a week with the first dose it was like a flu. We are just starting to open up this week but a little at a time. love phyl

thanks for understanding that it is not right to mandate it. Some of my "liberal" friends told me they would support MY not being permitted to travel if I did not take the vaccine and this was despicable to me that one guy said that to me!

I feel that the choice should be ours and there should be no consequences if you choose not to take it. It is right to force people to take it and now they are doing it with a beer for adults and ice cream for kids and some places other bribes.

Well said Phyl. I don't know what to think. Have heard so many stories about people my age taking the first covid shot and about 4 hrs. later they died and then others say they did fine. I'm scared. God Bless, JB

With all this Judy there seems to be no transparency between the pharmaceutical companies, the research companies and the government. I know I did hours of listening to different talks and into research about the vaccines and the companies. love phyl

I believe it is a difficult decision to take or not to take, Many people on the fence too. Thank you for sharing this poem, it is so meaningful these days. xo

Thanks for your comment and yes it was a difficult decision as I do not like the way all of this was handled by all those in charge. If it was a true pandemic you would feel the whole world would join together to fight but we seem more divided than ever. love phyl

They are keeping many things from us. A FB "gripe site" telling many bad side effects and even deaths was removed by FB. My daughter saw so many testimonials about the side effects. It's STILL a trial drug but people would rather give into their fears and take it anyway. Covid can be bad, but I will take my chances. good job here.

I think there are many things they are keeping from us Andrea. It is the making us feel guilty if we do not get it that makes me mad. It should be an individual choice yet they are banning if you do not get it. Sad world times. love phyl

There certainly has been a lot of controversy over the safety of the vaccine. I had no side effects at all, but my neighbor had to be rushed to the hospital because he couldn't breathe. At least we feel protected after getting vaccinated. Thanks for your visit to my page, Phyllis. I appreciate the prayers for my brother. He is holding his own and we're hopeful! Hugs, Carolyn

Thanks Carolyn. Glad your brother is doing better. It seems that the vaccine hits some people harder than others. Was sick for ten days and not sure about getting a second shot but I guess better than getting the virus or so my doc says. Have a lovely weekend. love phyl
