Moonlit falling leaf
Night winds play steal you away
From your kindred place

A beautiful ku my friend. Even in a strict count like this, the rhythm is exceptional and the image is deep. Great work.

Hi gene, sometimes I wish I was nothing more than a leaf... I don't mind being kidnapped by the wind, under the moon fall... a wonderful haiku...Love it..Linda

Thanks, Linda for that thought provoking comment. I'm glad you liked the Haiku. A change of scenery might be what the leaf needs...then again....that would depend on its destination, I guess Thanks again, friend Linda...Gene.
