Everyone has their own way. In art I like realism over abstract. Just me, I guess.

Sorry, that doesn't include me because I like to experiment and try all forms of haiku. But I do like the 5-7-5 form, too.

I read a lot of haiku, and many of the forms, and I like them. But quite often it seems that some poets don't get the concept of any of the poems, and just take haiku to mean "short poem". With poetry though, it is always a matter of how the poem sounds in your head, I guess, whether writing, reading, or listening.
