There are indeed rainbows that form from the light of the moon. My daughter saw one while the full moon hung over the ocean. I wrote a poem about it but I don't remember the title. I adored this beautiful haiku!

I agree with Andrea below - This is how a haiku should be written. A glimpse of a moment in time that kick-starts the reader's imagination. Well done, David!

gosh, it's been WAY too long since you commented to me at Soup. Otherwise, I'd have seen this sparkling gem by now! This to me is exactly how a haiku should be written!
