Reading this haiku gave me a happy feeling, I think it's those squirrel chatter-- and so happy mama monkey is happy! Btw, I guess I never thanked you for that poem of mine-- one I recited and entered-- Neverland over Wonderland-- thanks for that line, that poem I consider one of my personal favorites. smoochies back to you!

I always love your haiku, Debbie. I feel like I learn something new each time I read one. This one reminds me of portaging through the forest on a canoe trip. Wonderful :)
