Haiku

midday a blackbird feeding on a fat ball look a butterfly a large cabbage white will it find a partner blackbird eating fat bluetit checking out a bird box mid-summer ravenous starlings woodpigeons on the fat balls also taking grain the garden in bloom house sparrows taking aphids off the roses ladybirds not one one joy i've noted indoors no flies at all no nighttime moths sad
