Haiku
midday a blackbird
feeding on a fat ball
look a butterfly
a large cabbage white
will it find a partner
blackbird eating fat
bluetit checking out
a bird box mid-summer
ravenous starlings
woodpigeons on the
fat balls also taking grain
the garden in bloom
house sparrows taking
aphids off the roses
ladybirds not one
one joy i've noted
indoors no flies at all
no nighttime moths sad
