This dark haiku alludes to Stonehenge or the like which is thought to be the site of ritual human sacrifice at the summer solstice, when the dawn sun shines on the ‘sacrificial stone’. I hope that doesn’t spoil your Christmas cheer, and wish you the very best for this season and the coming year.
