Hello Maureen, thankyou for your kind support of my haiku. Yes it does look cool, but after 185 million years it transfoms into beautiful jewelry in the hands of craftsmen. My regards to you. George.

Hi MD, where in the world would that park be? It used to be around Norhh Yorks Moors but that was 185 million years ago. Now it is just specimen trees dotted here and there. My regards to you for your comments. Cheers George.

Hello Andrea, thanks for your kind support of my haiku, it is most welcome. It has been called a monkey puzzle tree from Victorian days, when a civic dignitary remarked to Qeen Victoria, it would puzzle a monkey to climb it. It is a Chile pine (araucaria). My warmest regard to you. George.

Hi Jan, thankyou for your post, it's very much appreciated. A few years ago i bought my wife the whole caboodle of Whitby Jet jewellery. Earrings, necklace, bracelet and a ring all a matching set. She lost the bracelet while playing golf, i kid you not. Fortunately i was able to replace it from the same shop in Whitby. My kindest regards. George.
