Haiku
Hint to participants of my latest haiku contest; no capital letters, only used for proper nouns, please read contest rules.
the static sun
it does not transverse our sky
planet earth rotates

the moon... not static
in synchronous rotation
orbits planet earth

time lapse photo shoots
of the stars show circles
cause... earth rotating

in the moonlight...
the owl hunts by sound alone...
yet it is not blind...

in the dark of night...
the bat screams detecting food...
natural sonar

hunting prey...
food for survival
feeding babes
