Hades

Come take a journey to my future, it’s quite a long way off The sun has grown into a red giant earths surface is utterly scorched Oceans have evaporated into space, our planet has turned to dust The moon is no longer in orbit, I wander aimless on a white hot crust Abandoned billions of years ago, humanity fled to colonies on mars When the terraforming went wrong, they continued out towards the stars I’ve been resurrected into this nightmare made to witness my burning shame, I’m able to breathe molten toxins, but the price is eternal pain Oh God I wish I’d believed you, for I’ve inherited this awful hell Left thirsting in vain forever, on an infernos simmering shell To think I seen this day coming yet buried my head in the sand Fiery embers run through each vein the magma pours from my hands Desperate to see one last image, I tear an eyeball from my head Pointing it back towards a face, horror reflects the life I’ve led And as the sun grows stronger, I seek refuge inside earths core Walls of plasma close all around me, sealed in to burn forevermore By David Kavanagh

You've produced some fantastic images here, David. Although I think your symbolism represents the future rather than anything that the ordinary public would recognize, This writing is well crafted. Your sequence will very certainly serve as proof of our long-term interconnectedness, with images such as the sun gradually growing to a crimson behemoth, devouring the earth and the moon.

Thank you Lasaad, there is a lot of factual evidence to our future earths demise inside the bloating sun, The analogy I use is one of hell, trying to picture myself standing condemned, to watch the spectacle, for my agnostic beliefs, cheers David

This one is frighteningly dark, David. Nightmarish, indeed.

It’s pretty bleak no doubt, Jenna probably designed as a warning to my future self, intermingled with imagery of the inexorable expansion of the sun into a red giant engulfing the earth, lucky not for another 5 billion years, cheers David
