Had I Known

I knew it!
I knew it was not real
Yes I knew it
I knew you were not for real
I knew it
I knew you were not fit
I knew it
I knew you were a fraud 
I knew it
I knew you were not ordained by the Lord
I knew it right from the start
I knew it
I knew it never came from your heart
I knew you never wanted me but my body
I knew you never loved me
I knew it!
I knew I will end up bitterly cursing the day I met you
I knew it
I knew I meant nothing to you
I knew it
Yes I knew it
But I never expected it to be this sudden
No! No!! No!!!
I never knew it will not last like our quickie 
I never knew!
Had I known!
I would not have fallen so deep
Not knowing you will end up making me weep
At night I cannot sleep
For our memories will not let me be
But what choice do I have
Than to let go of you
Even though I still love you

L Milton Hankins December 26, 2021 at 3:43 PM Your grammatical errors sort of distract from the idea of the poem ("thur" for "through")("set" for "sit"), etc. I'm still trying to figure out "where would we be"...if???
