Had Found a Great Place To Eat
If you do not like
my poems let me know so I
can stop sending them
home of free and brave
we remember when God gave
his love and would save
while we were watching
bird had flown high and overhead
glided across sky
each time when we were
lying down and then sleeping
dreams came to our minds
decided to do
all the things which we wanted
took away our breath
had been bored to death
news always was a nuisance
really bothered by
at times was cranky
much anguish and am upset
sure sign of the times
had hair cut again
looks really great in mirror
a real barn burner
bought another pet
we had brought him home with us
so cute and cuddly
went out to breakfast
after finding great restaurant
where we like to eat
building going on
noise flying through the air
nails being hammered
walls had been put up
where they would be raised
God we always praised
we had all gone home
shadows had started to show
quiet came at last
when they lied and lied
where swept over by high tide
we had cried and cried
