Hacked

One by one, my friends' accounts
Have all been getting hacked.
Likely there will come a time
I, too, will be attacked.

Where are all the rocks from which
These evil hackers crawled
To seek some suckers unaware
That they were being trawled?

With all this new technology
There's room for lots more scams
And unsuspecting souls get caught
In complicated jams.

I miss the good old days when crime
Was much more in your face
Than nowadays when scammers strike
But they don't leave a trace.

The twisted world of inter web is getting out of hand. It's time for legislation to help us make a stand. Find em' and grind em' into the dirty dust. That's no more than what they deserve for breaching mankind's trust.

this is a VERY good rhyming poem on this insidious crime. Love it, Sara. There is a lovely woman here named Katherine and her hotmail has been hacked. I let her know here at soupmail. I sure hope she is trying to take care of it.

yes, hackers are a scary nuisance for sure - beautifully written, as ever, my friend

so sad isn't it Ilene - never been a victim to date but never say never. I do worry for the elderly like my parents - no computer but at the mercy of cold canvassed calls and mail Hugs and hope you had a lovely Easter Jan x
