Gypsea

Gypped by the sea, the tossing
yanked a breath out, carelessly ~
Propped on a cliff edge, a deep
surge, swept over the hopeless ~
Escape came from birthed love:
A Nymphean with eyes of aqua ~

H.D. had a love affair with the Ocean, in more ways than one. I had not read H.D and that poem was interesting. I did have to look up murex - incredible!
