Gypsea

Gypped by the sea, the tossing yanked a breath out, carelessly ~ Propped on a cliff edge, a deep surge, swept over the hopeless ~ Escape came from birthed love: A Nymphean with eyes of aqua ~ (11/2/2020)

Wonderful imagery in this brevity. I see it all unfolding easily.

I love this, very beautiful. Fragile and exquisite. Emphasis on fragile. One of my favourite poets is H.D. You may or may not have read. H.D. had a love affair with the Ocean, in more ways than one. This short poem of yours is exceptional. x

thank you...yes, nothing like the ocean to make one feel extremely fragile! I had not read H.D and that poem was interesting. I did have to look up murex - incredible! My daughter went to Ireland and came back with a variety of dried Irish mosses of which I had no idea what to do with and had to google recipes from the cold Northern seas :)
