Gut Feeling

Do you ever get the feeling that something is amiss;
Something isn't quite right, something's off, there is?
You can't quite put your finger on exactly what's wrong,
But still you know in your gut and the feeling's strong.

This is how I feel today and I know my gut is right,
Because it always is though what may still be out of sight.
There's nothing I've done against another, that of I know,
But still I have this uneasy feeling like I have a foe.

Artsie, if you get that gut feeling something isn't right then go with it as our female intuition is usually correct. take care my friend:-) hugs jan xx

Yeah, it usually is, Jan, & thanks. Bad day. A pet died this a.m.. My sister was admitted to the hospital. Then some good news but not as per usual, like the good news I shouldn't have gotten or something. Hard to explain. Once you have two of something, good or bad, you can likely expect the 3rd. Being the 7th child can sometimes feel like a curse. Have a great weekend. :) hugs ~ Artsie xx

Know the feeling -always honor it - can save your life. Have many stories of when those feelings or clearer pre-cogs saved mine and of those who didn't listen with opposite results

Yep, Virginia, I've learned to honour and not ignore my instinctual voice and the red flags that show themselves, even if ever so subtly. Thanks for your feedback. All the best to you. :) ~ Artsie

Artsieladie, someone once said, "Carry your own sunshine with you and you will not get into any dark places."

Carlos, thanks, that is good advice. But I have a gut feeling that something is not right. It's only when I ignore my instinct/intuition do I then get broadsided. I am very observant, noticing the smallest details many others completely miss. It's the detective in me I guess. All the best to you. :) ~ Artsie
