Gussingitso

For fun or annoyance I’ve known true lies
saved grace and lived long, so time cries
looking over my shoulder with a big wide grin
I’ll not confess the worst of my sin
But traveled into tomorrow I’ll venture to say
was a journey to believe in, each and everyday
You can scoff and cast doubt of truth or lies
In shadow of yesterday will not be I, who cries
Hold then the rose to remember and thorn for the scare
We loved and we held hands, knowing always who we are
Gazed deep into our hearts, our souls parted never
But sailed like the clouds, I’d imagine forever…………
Give me then a smile, turn and walk away
As in dreams we shall return, for loves calls…another day.
