Gullible
I'm scared to sleep I so I keep on popping yoppies.
Always hiding my addiction from my colleagues.
They keep asking will I quit? I say probably.
But truth is man I wish somebody’d stop me.
I guess it’s all these issues that I’m going through.
Can’t work on me but I can make a better you.
I try to stop depression got me gum shoe.
Keep on getting fooled by these demons I’m so gullible.
Wake up marijuana for my breakfast.
Wash it down with some Dusse I’m so reckless.
That’s when I take some yoppas for my dessert.
Ease those pain signals from going to my brain.
And I can’t go and complain to relieve this pressure up in my veins.
Don’t know if I’m sleeping or I’m woke I’m insane.
I wish there was a way I could change my mind-frame.
Anxiety sets in when they mentioning my name.
And I can’t even look at myself in the mirror.
Vision's getting blurry.
Tell me why I can’t see clearer.
These drugs will ease the pain until I meet the true healer.

I spend my whole afternoon in fear.
Not knowing if I’ll make another year.
Try to wear a smile just to hide my tears.
Throw another pill inside my clear.
And no you cannot hit my bottle. NO!
You’ll be high like me can’t feel your toes.
And I’m hoping I don’t overdose.
But it’s feeling like I’m coming close.
And I can’t even look at myself in the mirror.
