Guilty Until Proven
Five children, raped, tortured, murdered and buried on a bleak and desolute moor
Sentenced to whole life sentences were the perpertrators before they closed the door
Two police women lured into a trap and executed with a hand grenade cast
Another evil person locked away forever but he will not be the last
Hanging was abolished in the UK due to doubt over the guilt of two or three
Now evil people who kill are locked up forever in a relative life of luxury
With there pool tables, hot showers, three meals a day and colour TV
Not to mention an opportunity to study and obtain a degree
It cost eighty thousand pound per year to keep one prisoner in the lockery
Eighty thousand pound multiplied by the rest of there life, nothing short of a mockery
For the guilty proven guilty without doubt, makes me want to shout
To bring back state execution and use the money towards good
Only then will the boil cool within my blood
Eighty thousand pound per year multiplied by thousands of people who kill
Enough to make anyones blood boil or bring to the spine a chill
Hospitals, schools, the hungry, elderly, homeless and those in pain
To benefit from the cost of keeping the guilty from the rain
Money misspent and the guilty do not worry about paying the rent
