Guard My Heart

you are my living sacrifice, you are the eyes of my heart, sometimes what i can't see in broad daylight is revealed to me in the dark, it passes right by my concience, with blind eyes i still cannot see, until you unmask the bigger picture at hand, and my focus is turned off of me, so many possibilities, so many from them to choose, but ultimately your in control of what i gain, and what i loose, faith is believing without seeing, should i bury this deep inside? or should my feelings stay lost forever, something that i must hide? in grace and humility i'll walk away, replacing my heart's intent, thank you for allowing a moment to love, and now healing my heart in content, i know your protecting my heart at this time, there are reasons for this friends departure, there is no anger in my heart, no resentment, or feelings i harbor, i know you appoint certain people who come in and out of my life, there's always a time or a season, and then they take off in flight, but this was very different, i really didn't want to let go, the more and more we talked, the more my love started to grow, i know it would've been selfish of me to keep talking to him any longer, because if our friendship moved any further it would've made my feelings grow stronger, i know it's not time for me to love a man like that yet, your still sorting out my heart, to evaluate my past regrets, and through your wisdom you've made me smart, i'm grateful for all my losses, when flowing tears have stung my eyes, love that's stolen away sometimes, is your love in disquise, i know you are preparing me with a solid and strong heart, and planning my future ahead, to place my will within your hands, rather than pleasing other people instead.
