Growing Pains

Why can’t they realize that once you’re grown you’re grown No turning back. The growing pains will become too much for them to handle. She will not know how to stand up on her bike alone. He will not be able to dress himself. Why not see the world through the eyes of a child. No worries in the world. Just laughter and cheer. I am the parent I must choose for my child. How will they learn? Without experiencing some growing pains. The growing pains will become too much to bare. She will not know which road to turn down when there’s a fork in the road. He will not be able to take care of himself all on his own. She is growing up before my eyes; I can do nothing, this I realize. These are the growing pains of children I have seen before my eyes.
