Growing Old
It’s hard to be graceful when growing old.
We’re still young at heart and don’t do what we’re told.
We are only young once in this adventurous endeavor.
But we can still have fun and be immature forever.
Youth lives on in the depths of each mind.
Life moves very fast, but it’s ours to find.
Try not to be sad when we take our last breath.
It’s all part of the journey, even our death.
Take pride in your life and always stand tall.
Remember to get back up each time you fall.
Our future is shaped, by the best, of our past.
Live life to the fullest and make memories that last.
There is a natural order in the selection of life.
Honor your father and mother, husband and wife.
Give respect, but only where it’s due.
You might be young right now, but you’ll grow old too.
