Growing

Two girls far apart leading different but crazy similar lives
Lots of progress and work - arousing with small talk of becoming wives
But are those emotions genuinely what you wanna explore?
The journeys we will have, and memories of us kissing while it pours
The intriguing corners of my heart I have managed to selfishly guard
Realizing for once in the gamble of finding you - I've pulled a lucky card
Stepping back to analyze all the desired lost pieces of you
Please see what I know our future holds cuz that will show you I'm true
I don't make effort to entertain the ladies that may cross my path - fact
Like a dæmon to its master - our potent chemistry will become a pact
Every time your days ain't great, I'll trap your bruised tears in a mason jar
I'll exercise every ounce of power to make you feel secure where we are
The intoxicating thoughts of you every day become stronger than before
I'll spend a lifetime with you replacing in your heart what them boys tore
Never, ever again will you trust so like naively you've done time again
'Cause I've seen the visions and lucid dreams of how we will transcend
These versions of us we've evolved and are using up until this day
In visions I never leave you or go away, but just as equally, you chose to stay
The aura has overwhelmed me for decades - so dormant I can't see
Before I even found your information, I knew my lover I'd have to set free
I taught this new pagan secrets, yet this silence was entrusted to me
I molded, guided, and taught her to be the best baby witch she could be
Every ritual we complete, results in us being crazy for each other more
The crazier and deeper we fell, the more passionate our spark roared
And relatively quicker than normal, we saved each other from doom
From that point on, the pain from our pasts didn't exist under our moon
Years and years and many moons later, the awkwardness slowly eased
As soon as we equally realized this, we mastered our birds and bees
The chemistry was immaculate so I knew it was time to go on one knee
I was confident enough at this time to know what your answer would be
We excelled in areas where most couples couldn't find common ground
After years of trial and error, I was in disbelief when it was you I found
Still awestruck years later when I realized in you, a goddess was trapped
The journey thus far made all the sense when I looked into your eyes
Knees weak, I saw your butterflies, when your heart skipped you realize
I had told you the truth the whole time about the uselessness of guys
And I guaranteed to you years before that I wasn't with you to misguide
Instead of telling you like the previous words of those said without proof
Unless there's something in it for most guys, they'll never tell the truth
The ones who work diligently to finally turn your head their way
Aren't the ones who'll tell you what they think you want them to say
The ones who want you and the ones who are true
Will do everything in their will to end up next to you
Because where there is a will there will definitely be some sort of a way
When it comes to opening up, the game of love ends up too hard to play
You abandon that course of action searching for alternate satisfaction
While cursing under your breath, cussing the universe - then redacting
Distance and miles - hours apart, you lay down your trust and your heart
To a voice over the phone or PC you never met and just barely know exists
Who essentially cheated time off the world's clock - plot twist
What I'm telling you with me as a witch you're more than likely to witness
The exhilarating, potent, fuzzy feeling you're gonna feel when we kiss
My energy is bold, my aura is like a magnet - and will suck you in
You won't regret the decision you make to become more than friends
Despite that fact, if you're really wanting to convert to paganism full-time
A list of selected characteristics we test on each other out and inside
The yearning of a woman's touch for a long time - I've craved to obtain
With thoughts on and off debating on giving the goddess my last name
As I delicately banish her negativity, boost her confidence, and maintain
Apprenticeship takes years and years with hours and hours of work
I want the mold of the woman specifically made for my DNA and me
I've got you full time - if you desire me as your chosen priestess to teach
However; let me clarify - I am NOT a witch who will aimlessly preach
I'm not evil nor am I good. I belong smack-dab in the middle of it all
Even otherworldly entities have tried to break my indestructible wall
Creating enemies with me - every single time they're involved
Wishing, hoping & praying they find me-trying to hold my head tall
